Gabriella Sanchez

Gabriella Sanchez is a socio-cultural anthropologist with a background in law enforcement. Her research (carried out on the US-Mexico border, the Americas, North Africa and Europe) examines the facilitation of high-risk migration and border crossings. She focuses on the structure and organization of migrant smuggling groups, alongside the impacts of counter-smuggling responses.
