Hannah Postel

Hannah Postel is Assistant Professor at Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy. I use novel data to explore the relationship between migration and economic development and provide historical perspective on population movements and policies. She completed my PhD in Demography and Social Policy in 2022 at Princeton University.

She previously worked on a range of migration research and policy initiatives at the Center for Global Development in Washington DC, and maintain this policy engagement as a Research Associate with the Overseas Development Institute's Human Mobility Initiative.
